Lisboa
Each day has a list of places we visited and hundreds of pictures, so I’ve listed the places and I’ll just pick a few pictures from each day for the video. (Hopefully keeping them interesting)
I thought I’d do the Lisbon video’s with music composed by Ennio Morricone. (Guess the movie the music was used in) He’s been the composer on 533 movies so far, so best of luck!
Day 1 (Wednesday) 15th May
On day 1 we went to:
- Time Out Market Lisboa
- Antigua Doca Seca da Ribera Das Naus
- Cais Das Colunas
- Praia do Comercio
- Equestrian Statue of King Jose I
- Arco da Rua Augusta
- Lisbon History Centre
- Church of Saint Anthony of Lisbon
- Lisbon Cathedral
- Arco do Castelo
- Lift Castelo
- Camera escura do Castelo sao Jorge
- Castelo de S. Jorge
Day 2 (Thursday) 16th May
On day 2 we went to:
- The National Tile Museum
- National Pantheon
- Igreja de Sao Vicente de Fore
Day 3 (Friday) 17th May Sintra
We took a 40 minute train ride out of Lisbon to Sintra and visited:
- Tuk-Tuk ride up to National Palace of Pana
- Walked to Castelo dos Mouros - Gill walked up the mountain.
- Then another Tuk-Tuk ride to Sintra Nation Palace
Day 4 Saturday 18th May
Today was a short day visiting:
- Monument to the Overseas Combatants
- Belem Tower
- Padrao dos Descobrimentos
- Jeronimos Monastery
- Church of Maria of Belem
- Pasteies de Belem (A WOW pastry shop - 250 table)
Day 5 Sunday 19th
- Rest, washing, etc
- Dinner at Cervejaria Trinidade restaurtant -
Day 6 Monday 20th

Day 7 Tuesday 21st May
- National Coach Museum
